Online talks

Our online talks programme originated in 2020, the result of the pandemic, yet quickly established itself as a popular year-round product in its own right. We have continued to run a programme of enlightening, entertaining and intellectually stimulating series ever since.

How we understand the history and culture of a specific subject can be determined by the age at which we were first exposed to it; the online series offer fresh perspectives on a range of topics, both familiar and unexpected. They provide a showcase to our expert speakers that goes beyond tour-leading to the heart of current scholarship. Watch live from the privacy of your own home and participate in the Q&A sessions that follow each talk or watch at your leisure for two months following the end of each series. The online series also make excellent gifts.
