Our Christmas tours for 2019

posted on 16/04/19

Christmas is a canny time for cultural tourism. The world’s attention is elsewhere, and museums and monuments that are usually jammed with visitors are blissfully empty and quiet. The pace is unhurried, the sense of revelation razor-sharp.

It is no wonder then, that it is a busy season for Martin Randall Travel. A choice of seven Christmas tours for 2019 offer rare and uncrowded views of some of Europe’s loveliest cities and regions. Venice, Provence, Amsterdam and Munich are all options, and while Christmas Day itself offers the chance to attend religious services and – on some tours – festive concerts, art and architecture are our principal concerns. In the company of expert lecturers, and with the support of experienced tour managers, this is a chance to enjoy some of the Continent’s greatest sights – while everyone else is shopping for presents. We hope you can join us.
