Celebrating forty years and the 200th edition, MRT is pleased to support HALI Magazine’s anniversary event ‘HALI London’ 24–30 June 2019. From the rugs of Iran to Greek island embroidery, this week-long event is the perfect opportunity to delve into global textile art traditions.
The programme includes lectures by international scholars on antique carpets and textiles from across the world, a dealers’ fair, and exclusive access to collections in the British capital and beyond.

MRT continue to enjoy our close collaboration with HALI Magazine, developing tours with exclusive access to textile and antique carpet collections as well as in-depth commentary from specialist lecturers. Current projects include two new destinations: Russia to explore the exceptional collections in St Petersburg & Moscow and a new route in India exploring the wealth of handmade textiles being created there today (early 2021). In addition, ‘Textiles in Japan’ returns in October–November 2020.
