Emma Parker
Operations Assistant
Emma read English Literature and Spanish at the University of Birmingham, where she developed an interest in Spain’s more recent history and evolving relationship with Historical Memory. Emma studied in Seville for a year, where she immersed herself in Andalusian culture, regularly attending flamenco shows and exploring sites of mudéjar architecture.
Before joining MRT in 2025, Emma worked in a plaster cast sculpture studio that specialised in classical and neoclassical art. She enjoys cooking, playing tennis and looking after her houseplant collection.
