Marketing Executive
Martin Randall Travel is one of the most innovative travel companies in the world. We are looking for a bright and resourceful individual to manage the production, distribution and reporting of marketing campaigns designed to drive new and repeat business; and to support the Marketing Director with strategy and budgeting.
The role
– Work alongside external agencies involved with the production and distribution of advertising material.
– Contribute to the production of e-newsletters and other digital marketing activity, including pay-per-click, SEO and social media.
– Keep our website up to date and engaging for new and repeat visitors; use GA4 to analyse website behaviour and identify optimisation opportunities.
– Produce a monthly report on marketing campaign performance and suggest actions to improve conversion metrics and refine strategies.
– Upload product inventory to our travel reservations system and content management systems.
– Assist with maintenance of MRT’s client databases.
– Manage the development of sponsorship and partnership arrangements with likeminded organisations.
– Occasionally take on the role of chair or technical host for our programme of online talks.
– Provide support to the Client Team during busy periods, which entails answering phone calls and monitoring our general company e-mail address.
– Attend client events; occasional travel as a tour manager on our tours or Martin Randall Festivals.
Requirements
– Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with at least two years’ experience of working in a commercially focused marketing role.
– Experience of working with Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, content management systems, customer relationship management tools and e-mail marketing software.
– Experience of producing printed marketing literature, from copy generation, through editing and design to printing and mailing, is advantageous.
– A strong understanding of database marketing principles.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
– Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
– An interest in the arts, classical music and cultural travel.

Salary package: £32k plus benefits, including 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), museum membership, training and development opportunities, pension contribution and travel insurance.
